The word is out and the news is bad - America is in the toughest economic times since The Great Depression of the 1930s. Washington is hesitant to call it a 'depression', opting to call it a 'recession' instead - as if to soften the blow to those who are being hit hard by the dire financial straits in this country. There are stories circulating through every major media outlet regarding the struggling middle-class, how former executives are now out of work or being forced to take low paying jobs, and just how badly the whole thing stinks for families who have become accustomed to living a certain lifestyle.

They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks and apparently, in the case of Dog The Bounty Hunter, this cliché rings true. Several media outlets are reporting that Duane Chapman, better known as Dog The Bounty Hunter, star of the A&E reality show, is the
subject of several tax liens brought down by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service.

Space Debris..or why we shouldn't be fuckin' around up there in the first place
I'll
preface this by saying I've never supported space exploration. I
believe that if mankind were meant to be in space, it would be easier
to get there.
With that said, MSN is reporting
massive amounts of space debris from a collision between US and Russian
satellites sometime earlier in the week. This debris is projected to
orbit the earth for thousands of years to come and has the potential to
cause even more collisions, given the amount of satellites and the like
already in orbit.
Now there are reports of space debris falling all over Texas and sonic booms being heard and felt throughout the state.
Can you say...Andromeda Strain?

What kind of food stamps are there other than the welfare kind?
The lady who had the octuplets recently in CA via artificial means went on NBC's Today show and said this:
Nadya Suleman told NBC's "Today" in an interview broadcast Wednesday that her family receives no cash from the government and that the food stamps she's been receiving for 18 months are "not affiliated with welfare."
What?
And then she had a EUREKA! moment just a little too late:
Responding to her mother's claim that she is incapable of caring for her new family, Suleman said: "What human on this planet is capable to take care of 14 independently without support from family, from friends, from church? No human is."
You can read more about this ignorant lady and her financial and family planning (or lack thereof, rather) here.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Authorities say a woman shot and killed her husband's alleged mistress after confronting the younger woman outside her job and chasing her around the parking lot.
Bexar County Sheriff's Deputy Chief Dale Bennett says the 32-year-old victim arrived Tuesday morning at her job at an animal hospital, where the wife had been waiting inside her car.
Bennett says that according to witnesses, the 37-year-old wife confronted her rival and began chasing her. Authorities say the younger woman was shot at least twice in the neck and later died at a hospital.
Names of the victim and suspect were not immediately released. Bennett says the wife probably will be charged with murder.
Bennett says an affair had apparently been going on for some time. He said the victim had filed previous complaints about the wife harassing her.
Yanno why men continue to cheat, folks? Because women continue to let them by continuing to blame 'the other woman' instead of their husbands.

Bret Michaels & Flava Flav
Flipping through the channels the other night, I caught a glimpse of a couple of programs on what used to be music channels. MTV
and VH1. Both of the shows had the same premise - make an ass of
yourself fawning over a has been that's way past his prime so that
maybe, just maybe he'll give you the time of day and not further embarrass you in front of millions of viewers each week.
Enter: Bret Michaels
He's the star of one show...... Rock of Love Bus......now in its 3rd season.
THIRD season, wtf?
So Bret travels around the country in one bus and another bus filled with barely legal skanks follows behind. He tells them what to do, issues challenges, to see who can 'hang' *audible gag* with him, who's feelin' him, and who he's just not that
into. So he fondles them and screws them and whomever else he wants to
do. Discards a few each show and picks up a couple more. The last ones
were eliminated and new ones brought on because he 'wasn't feeling the emotional effort'.
Excuse me while I vomit.
Okay, I know there are some very materialistic bitches in the world who will stop at nothing to get their fifteen minutes of fame - regardless of whether it's good or bad fame. But you have to wonder what tragic events occurred in these girls lives that made them have such low self esteem that would make them think the way they're being treated is 'okay'.
Some of them might find him attractive and are acting on that. Some things do get better with age. Bret Michaels is one of them. He's not an ugly guy by any means.
This is what he used to look like: (the one in the red head thing, in case you didn't know)
This is him now:
He's
browned...and buffed...(and Botox'd and weave'd) and he's
almost...pretty - so it's not like they're fawning over a bunch of
nasty or anything.
Which brings me to Flava Flav. He's got his own show called The Flavor of Love. Sort of the same as Bret Michaels' show, but on FF's show, the 'winner' is supposed to end up marrying him.
Then:
And now:
Lawd have mercy.
WHAT THE FUCK, folks? The Bret Michaels thing I can kind of understand in comparison...but THIS? ^^^^^^^
And
let me just say...that after stomaching this through all the tapings
and eliminations, under the premise that one of the girls on his show
was going to end up marrying Flava Flav *shudder*, at the end of season
3 it was revealed he met someone off the show and had already gotten
married.
